Product description
If your Canon iR1024, iR1022, or one of the "iF" / "J" versions has started leaving faint lines, a grey haze, or that patchy fade which makes a real contract look like a rough draft, the drum's probably worn out. You don't need to call a repair guy or go shopping for a new machine. A fresh drum will bring it back, and you can fit it yourself in the time it takes to make a coffee.
Our new-build drum fits the whole Canon IR1024 family — the iR1024, iR1024iF and iR1024J, plus the iR1022, iR1022iF and iR1022J. It's not a refurb that's already done 50,000 pages in someone else's office. Every part inside is new: the drum itself, the cleaning blade, the charge roller — all of it. No wear carried over, no tired parts hiding inside. You get the clean, steady output you'd expect from a machine that just came out of the box.
Fitting it is straightforward. Open the front cover, pull the old cartridge out, slide the new one in until it seats. No tools, no technician, no sitting there half the morning watching an error light blink. The copier picks it up straight away and you're printing handouts, invoices, permission slips — whatever you need — without any fuss.
You'll see the difference on the first page that comes through. The text gets sharp again. Blacks are solid instead of patchy. Even grey logos and charts print clean, with smooth shading instead of rough speckled edges. Because the drum lays the toner down evenly, page one and page five hundred look the same — so a long print run still comes out looking professional.
These are built to hold up under daily office use, not fall apart after a few months. You'll get a real page count out of one — enough to keep a small or mid-size office going for months, sometimes the better part of a year, before you think about swapping it again. Fewer interruptions, less faffing about with supplies, and a print budget you can actually plan around. Anyone who's stared at a copier error code on a Monday morning will know what that's worth.
If you're not sure which one you've got, here's the full list it fits — no adapters, no bodges:
iR1024 / iR1024iF / iR1024J iR1022 / iR1022iF / iR1022J
Pull the old drum, push the new one in, and let it get on with the work. If print quality on any of these models has started slipping, a new drum is the cheapest, quickest fix there is.
